how much did it cost? 18 hours at £60 an hour. not much really for a completely one off piece of artwork.

yeah, to get the brightness, it was done in layers - undercoats if you will. sometimes three layers of the same colour over the top of each other to get the depth. 18 hours over about 5 months though - quite spread out.

i know what you mean, i wish i could have had it all done at once but that wouldn't have been possible. I have a half leg tattoo too that is only black and that only took 6 hours. that was three sessions of two hours, and although that could have been done in one sitting, i couldn't get the time off work :-( but it's all done now and looks look. the blackest tattoo you will have ever seen.
